The Bishop’s Annual Appeal is dedicated to providing the financial support of Catholic Ministries, Catholic Education, Social Service Ministries, and the formation of Priests and Deacons of the Diocese of Dallas.
The Appeal is the Diocesan annual fundraising campaign and was incorporated in 1996 as distinct Texas 501(c)(3) corporation. The department is staffed by Pastoral Center employees and its responsibilities include fundraising for twenty-seven ministries of the diocese through the Annual Appeal effort. Unique to this Appeal, 100 percent of the funds raised goes to the ministries. No funds from the Appeal can be used for legal judgments, settlements, or fees.
